QUETTA March 1: A radio station would be set up at Gwadar very soon with Radio Pakistan’s own resources, Federal Secretary for Information Anwar Mehmood said on Thursday night.

Mr Mehmood, also the chairman of PTV and Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation, was addressing as the chief guest at PBC’s annual regional award distribution ceremony.

He said the government was making efforts to get the voice of Radio Pakistan across the majority areas of Balochistan. “Balochistan has a vast area which lacks in communication resources”, he added.—APP
