LAHORE, Feb 28: Government APWA College, Lahore and Government College, Baghbanpura, Lahore entered final of the Punjab University women Inter-collegiate hockey championships final Thursday.
The final will be played on Saturday at 11 am.
A decisive goal by inside-left Ayesha Arif in extra time helped APWA College to edge out Government College, Madina Town, Faisalabad in the semifinal 1-0.
Earlier, a hat trick by inside-left Sabeeha Mahmood awarded Government Baghbanpura College, a facile 4-0 victory after leading 3-0 at the breather. Saadia Khadim struck the fourth goal to complete the tally.
