Information officer dies, 15 injured in collision
VEHARI, Feb 18: The Vehari deputy director information was killed while 15 other people were injured in a road accident near here on Monday.
Aziz Ahmad was going to Multan along with a journalist, Shahid Mahmood and clerk Khalil Ahmad by a car when their vehicle collided with a wagon coming from the opposite side. Aziz Ahmad died on the spot, while 15 others sustained injuries.
The injured are Shahid Mahmood, Khalil, Iqbal, Maqbool Husain, Muhammad Khalil, Muhammad Shafi, Shakir Ali, Muhammad Iqbal, Sohail Abbas, Babar Bhatti, Asif Altaf, Muhammad Riaz, Arshad, Abdul Sattar and Haji Maqsood.—APP
