SANGHAR, Feb 13: Several dozens people including councillors of union council 4 and 5, Tando Adam, took out a protest rally against Nazims of these UCs in Tando Adam.
The rally began from Jatia Para and after marching through various roads terminated at the Tando Adam press club.
Councillors Anwar Qureshi, Anwar Abbasi, Hanif and the people of UC 4 and 5 told newsmen that almost all the localities of the two UCs were littered with garbage and filth. Streets and roads were under sewage water making it difficult for people to pass from there specially for women and children.
They alleged that the Nazims had failed to improve the sanitation in the town.
The protesters alleged that tons of garbage had been dumped in the area for months but the Nazims of the UCs had remained unmoved and taken no measures to dispose it off.
They appealed to high officials to redress their grievances and improve the sanitation conditions of the UCs.
HOSTAGES: Three hostages returned home after 16 days in the captivity of dacoits.
Mohammad Sharif, Iqbal Sanjrani and driver Baboo Wassan were kidnapped from village Allah Jurio Sanjarani in the Shahdadpur police jurisdiction.
They told the newsmen that the dacoits took them to a place near Tando Adam and then to the Kutcha area near Matiari.
The gang of the dacoits consisted seven men and it kept them mostly blindfolded and chained, they added.
