Armymen in ATCs opposed

By Our Correspondent

ABBOTTABAD, Feb 10: President of Awami National Party Asfandyar Wali Khan has opposed the induction of army officials into the Anti-Terrorist Courts and said that it would hamper the basic norms of justice.

Speaking at separate gatherings of party workers at the Press Club hall and District bar Association Abbottabad during his visit of Hazara division on Saturday, the ANP chief also criticized proposed amendments to the Constitution.

Asfandyar Wali said that the ANP would not compromise on its basic stand. He said the ANP did not want to snatch rights of other provinces and nor would it allow others to snatch its rights.
