Five booked for damaging Nazim’s car

SANGHAR, Feb 5: The local police have registered an FIR against five persons for attacking the car of the Nazim of Union Council-II, Sanghar, Abid Farooq, and threatening him of dire consequences.

Farooq told the police that on late Monday night while he was coming back from the local Gymkhana and reached near his house, he saw councillor Mehboob. He stopped his car and came out to discuss some matters, in the meantime Asghar Mari along with four accomplices rammed his jeep and damaged his car.

When he went to the police station, again in front of Frontier Hotel the accused threatened him of dire consequences and fled toward Ghulam Qadir Mari village.

ATTACKED: The Taluka Nazim of Tando Adam, Lala Ayub Khan, was attacked by dacoits near Bhabar Shakh, late on Sunday night while he was going in a car towards the city.
