Four kidnapped

SUKKUR, Feb 3: Three persons of Bugti tribe and another of Jakhrani tribe were kidnapped on Saturday night near Kandhkot and Jhatpat in an on-going tribal feud between the two tribes which has created unrest and harassment in the border areas of Sindh and Balochistan.

Reports reaching here said that Hoto Jakhrani was going to Jhatpat from Kandhkot in a car when armed persons of Bugti tribe intercepted his vehicle and kidnapped him in his car.

The Jakhranis retaliated in Kandhkot area. They raided the Bugti Colony near Balochistan border and kidnapped three Bugti tribesmen with a tractor trolley.

The names of the kidnapped Bugtis could not be ascertained immediately.

However, tension has mounted in Kandhkot area as both the groups have started aerial firing and taken position against each other.

No FIR was lodged till filing of this report.

Kandhkot police said that the Bugtis and the Jakhranis were dagger drawn for the last three months and so far two persons of both the tribes were killed in the tribal dispute.
