ISLAMABAD, Jan 30: The police have arrested two suspects, said to be involved in the murder of Ehtashamuddin Haider, elder brother of Interior Minister Moinuddin Haider, and flown to Karachi late Wednesday night, sources said.

The two suspects were arrested by a team of Karachi police in Bhera, Sargodha District, in the morning and driven to Islamabad airport amid tight security, the airport sources said.

The two suspects, they added, were flown to Karachi with fake names of Aslam and Salim. But their real names and connections with any organization could not be ascertained.

When the Sargodha SSP, Arif Mushtaq, was contacted to confirm the arrests, he was not available.

Ehtashamuddin Haider, administrator of Fatimid Foundation, was shot dead at Soldier Bazaar, Karachi, on Dec 21 last.
