Nomi added to Pakistan squad
ISLAMABAD, Jan 30: Anwar Saifullah Khan, president of Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Wednesday added Nomi Qamar to the list of players for next month’s Davis Cup Asia Oceania Group II tie against Malaysia.
The PTF selectors, who met in Islamabad Tuesday, had forwarded the names of Aisamul Haq, Asim Shafik and Aqeel Khan to Saifullah for approval. They had also recommended Saeed Hai as the manager with Rasheed Malik the playing captain.
However, Saifullah while approving the names of Aisam, Asim and Aqeel, included Nomi as the fourth player in the squad for the Feb 8 to 10 tie.
