LAHORE, Jan 24: Five matches were decided in the Punjab University Inter-Collegiate badminton (boys) championship at the Government Islamia College, Civil Lines, Thursday.

All the matches were decided in straight sets.

Results:

Punjab University Teaching Department defeated Government College, Kamoke, 2-0: Gohar Ijaz bt Muhammad Altaf 15-6, 15-1; Zafar-Gohar bt Aqeel-Altaf 15-3, 15-5.

Allama Iqbal Medical College defeated Government College of Dentistry 2-0: Abid Mushtaq bt Yasir 15-5, 15-1; Abid-Waseem bt Yasir-Imran 15-3, 15-1.

Government College, Faisalabad, def Government College, Gujar Khan, 2-0: Imran Laeeq bt Muhammad Qaiser 15-2, 15-1; Imran-Shahid bt Qaiser-Imran Ahmed 15-1, 15-1.

Hailey College of Commerce, Lahore, def Shalimar College, Lahore 2-0: Amjad Iqbal bt A Rehman 15-5, 15-3; Amjad-Babar Abbas bt Muhammad Irfan-A Rehman 15-2, 15-1.

Punjab College of Commerce, Lahore, def Quaid-i-Azam College of Information and Technology, Lahore 2-0: Kamran Ahmed bt Irfan Sajid 15-3, 15-3; Umar-Nadeem Ahmed bt Ata-ur-Rehman-Imran 15-5, 15-2.
