SUKKUR: Three hurt in accident

SUKKUR, Jan 23: Three men were injured when a pickup (KH-2328) rammed into a motorcycle on the National Highway, near Ghotki, on Wednesday.

The three — M. Anwer, Wali, and Sharif — were shifted to the taluka hospital, Ghotki, in a serious condition.

VERIFICATION: Eighty per cent field verification of electoral rolls has been completed and the remaining work is expected to be over by Jan 31.

This was stated at a meeting on Wednesday.

The joint election commissioner instructed all registration and assistant registration officers to ensure enrolment of eligible persons by avoiding entry of bogus voters in the electoral rolls.—Correspondent
