HYDERABAD, Jan 23: A leader of the Qaumi Jamhoori Party, Omer Asghar Khan, has said that the QJP will be a non-traditional political party and it will break the stranglehold of the feudal lords who had occupied the political arena for too long.

He was talking to this correspondent on Wednesday.

He said his party will focus on the middle class and the working class.

He said that the condition of being a graduate to qualify for contesting the elections should not be made applicable to the representatives of workers and women.

He said that he was in favour of increasing technocrat seats to 100.

He said his party believed in the provincial autonomy and the flow of power from the centre to the provinces and the districts.

Mr Asghar said there were over three dozen divisions in the federal government and there was much overlapping of work.

Answering a question, Umer Asghar Khan said that the organization of the party would be completed within the next three months.
