LAHORE, Jan 16: Remounts Whites and Borjan registered narrow wins in the Pepsi Cup polo tournament at the Lahore Polo Club Wednesday.

In another match of the competition Borjan defeated Falcons 5 1/2-4 with a 1/2 goal handicap in its favour.

A seven-goal handicap foreigner Garardo Mazzini and another six-goal handicap player Ivan Jose Araya played in the two matches but both were among the losing quartets.  Mazzini represented Remounts Orange and Araya played for Falcons.

For Remounts Orange, Sufi Muhammad Amir drew first blood in the first chukker by putting in a field goal with Ahmad Khan scoring another field goal. Khursheed scored a field goal for Remounts Whites. At end of the first chukker, Remounts Orange led 2-1 1/2.

The only field goal of second chukker was scored by Ahmad Khan which increased Remounts Orange lead to 3-1 1/2.
