Father Omi is dead

TOBA TEK SINGH, Jan 16: Father Alfred Rayappu Omi of the St Anthony’s Church and school, Pirmahal, died on Wednesday afternoon.

The Sri Lanka born missionary worked at various catholic churches in Pakistan.

According to decision of the church authorities concerned, Father Omi will be laid to rest at Pirmahal.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2pm at St Anthony’s Church, Pirmahal.
