Struggle for Punjab

LAHORE, Jan 15: Despite a third wicket century stand between skipper Aamir Bashir and Hasnain Abbas Rest of Punjab were struggling at 229 for seven on the second day of the Quaid Trophy match against defending champions Lahore Blues at LCCA Ground here Tuesday.

Aamir and Hasnain added 123 in 152 minutes after their team resumed at the overnight score of three for no wicket in reply to Blues’ 313.

Aamir struck 11 fours in making 80 off 166 balls while Hasnain’s 51 off 113 balls included eight boundaries.
