Kuwait urges India to resume talks

KUWAIT, Jan 14: Kuwait urged India on Monday to resume dialogue with Pakistan to de-escalate the prevailing situation, and welcomed President Pervez Musharraf’s speech on curbing terrorism.

The official news agency of Kuwait, Kuna, reported that a statement released by the foreign affairs ministry, said the State of Kuwait welcomed the positive approach expressed by President Pervez Musharraf on curbing terrorism in his speech and appealed to India to respond positively and resume dialogue with Pakistan.
