KARACHI, Jan 13: Despite a haul of five wickets by medium-pacer Fahad Khan UGC struggled on the opening day of the three-day Patron’s Trophy Grade-II match against Servis Industries at UBL Sports Complex here Sunday.
Fahad captured five for 55 as Servis Industries were restricted to 172 in their first innings.
However, by stumps, the students were reeling at 97 for five.
Shahajan Malik top-scored for Servis with 47, including seven boundaries while Kashif Imran contributed 36 with four hits to the ropes.

ARIF HITS 91: Veteran all-rounder Arif Mahmood made an unbeaten 91 to steer KESC to a healthy 264-9 in their first innings against PTCL at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium.
PTCL were four for no wicket at close of play.
Arif hammered four sixes and two fours during his 136-ball knock. Tahir Khan hit nine boundaries in his enterprising 63.
Pacer Yasin Bari took five for 40.
