Councillors Threaten to resign
CHARSADDA, Jan 10: The councillors of all the union councils of Charsadda have threatened to resign if they were not given their proper status and assigned duties in the new setup.
Reports from various districts revealed that the councillors were not happy and had been complaining of not being assigned any role in the new setup. In Charsadda, they had even taken out a protest demonstration to press their demand.
