LARKANA, Jan 7: Five to six out of 1000 pregnant women die during labour in the country every year.

This was stated by the speakers at a seminar on child-mother health care, held here on Sunday.

The Earth Lovers Society and Marvi Welfare Association jointly organized the seminar.

The speakers stressed the need of educating women about the basic health problems and treating emergencies.
