Women swimmers for Manchester

Karachi, Jan 4: President of Pakistan Women Amateur Swimming Association (PWSA) Fatima Lakhani has said that national women swimming team will participate in Common Wealth/Asian Games this year.

While talking to PPI here Friday, Fatima said a busy schedule and tough competitions for Pakistani women swimmers is ahead and it would be better for them to be trained under guidance of foreign coach, she said.

She said that PWSA has recommended to PSB that, services of a Chinese woman coach could be hired as it would be feasible as we have good experience of coaching of Chinese woman swimming coach Mrs Li Hui, she said.—PPI
