NWFP in command

KARACHI, Jan 3: Rest of NWFP were poised for victory against Rest of Punjab in the Quaid Trophy tie at Arbab Niaz Stadium in Peshawar Thursday.

According to details available here, Punjab were 61 for two in their second innings at draw of stumps. They still need 55 to avoid an innings defeat.

Earlier, NWFP were all out for 206, having resumed at 75 for four in reply to Punjab’s first innings score of 90. Adnan Raees made 68 off 118 balls before he was run out.
