Bodies of martyrs reach Dadu

DADU, Jan 3: The bodies of three soldiers of the Pakistan Army who were martyred at the Pakistan-India border near Sialkot were brought to Dadu in Pakistan Army ambulances on Wednesday night.

The ambulances which were accompanied by some army officials of the Sialkot range arrived at the local hospital Dadu.

The body of Ahmed Khan Bughio was received by his relatives and the local administration of Dadu. It was sent to his native town, Faridabad, Mehar Taluka, on an Edhi ambulance.

The body of Mohammed Saleem Rajput was sent to Tando Jam, while the body of Gul Faraz was sent to Mirpur Mathelo.

MEETING: A meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League (LM) and its supporters was held at the native village of former Sindh chief minister, Liaquat Ali Khan Jatoi, Betto Jatoi, in Taluka Mehar the other day.

The meeting was presided over by the president, Muslim League, Sindh, Ghous Bux Mehar.

Party matters and the prevailing situation in the country were discussed at the meeting.

STRANGULATED: Sahibzadi, 16, was strangulated by Akbar Detho on the pretext of Karo Kari in Thana Bula Khan town the other day.

Thana Bula Khan police, on the complaint of the father of the girl, Shafi Muhammad Detho, registered an FIR against the accused.
