Eight outlaws held in Dadu

By Our Correspondent

DADU, Jan 2: Eight outlaws, including two car lifters, were arrested in raids at different places here on Wednesday.

Dadu town police conducted raids at different places in the city and arrested two car lifters identified as Mubarak and Ghulam Sarwar.

Police seized one car (C-2647 KYC), hijacked from Nawabshah district jurisdiction, some 20 days ago.

Two pistols and 15 bullets were also recovered from their possession.

Town police also arrested four outlaws — Ghafar, Sattar, Rajib and Khudan — who were reportedly involved in the robbery of Bhittai Petrol Pump, owned by Sindh’s ex-chief minister, Liaquat Ali Khan Jatoi.

Police seized one rifle, one pistol, two clubs, 20 live bullets, some cash and other valuables from their possession.

ACCIDENT: A girl, Kainat (5), daughter of Ghulam Ali Bughio, was crushed to death under the wheels of a Corolla (J-3477 KYC) when she was crossing Ghanhwarabad-Mehar Indus Highway on Tuesday.
