LAHORE, Dec 30: Speakers at a function held here on Saturday night to mark the 126th anniversary of the YMCA eulogised the service of the association in the fields of education, culture and sports.
The function was attended by Justice Nasim Hasan Shah (retired), Punjab Minorities Advisory Council general secretary Jacqueline Tressler and its coordinator Brig Yasoob Ali Dogar (retired), Lahore Nazim Mian Aamir Mahmood, Punjab information secretary Kamran Lashari and Bishop of Sialkot Samuel Pervez.
They said the YMCA was the oldest institution in Lahore and it had contributed a lot in promoting the culture of the historical city.
Roles of honour were also given to the old members of the body in recognition of their services.
