JHANG, Dec 26: A girl allegedly raped by three outlaws two months ago in a brothel in Alnoor Colony died from excessive bleeding at the local DHQ Hospital on Monday.

She was mishandled during unsuccessful abortion attempt by a midwife of a private rural clinic.

The girl, 14, was taken to Amna Bibi’s house by her daughter on the pretext of helping in household work. Amna Bibi, who allegedly runs a brothel, presented the girl to her clients — Pappi Noul, Rab Nawaz Naul and Liaquat.

The three allegedly raped the girl.

After a month, she was taken to a private clinic run by a midwife, Ruqaya Bibi, for abortion. The abortion attempt proved failure and the girl started bleeding profusely. She was taken to the DHQ Hospital in a state of unconsciousness where she died.

Police have registered a case.
