Watchman’s killer arrested
MANSEHRA, Dec 26: The local police on Wednesday solved the mystery of the murder of the watchman of Girls Middle School, Batang Banda.
The police arrested the watchman’s son, Mohammad Nadeem, who was said to have confessed that his brother, Mohammad Murad, had killed his father, Abdullah Jan.
According to police sources, Murad, who was also arrested, said his mother had wanted to marry off his sister with Mohammad Faiz, but his father had opposed the proposal.
He said his mother had given him Rs1,700 to hire a murderer to kill his father. Murad added that he had himself killed his father and had thrown his body in the school on Dec 15.
The police seized one rifle, one Kalashnikov and one pistol.
