Rare collection of books on Quaid

LAHORE, Dec 24: Federal information and media development secretary Syed Anwar Mahmud opened an exhibition of books on the Quaid-i-Azam and the Pakistan movement at the Evan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan here on Monday. The exhibition which will continue till Dec 31 has been arranged by the Nazaria-i-Pakistan foundation in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust in connection with the on-going Quaid-i-Azam year.

It has some rare books and manuscripts about the life nad the struggle of the Quaid-I-Azam and different phases of the Pakistan Movement.

Most of the books and manuscripts have been taken from the collection of noted scholar and director general of libraries Prof Abdul Jabbar Shakir. Books published by various local publishers are also on display and will be sold at discounted prices. Books published by Hindu publishers against the Pakistan movement and Quaid-i-Azam are also on display.
