HYDERABAD, Dec 23: The two-member selection committee of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), comprising former
Test cricketer, Anwer Khan and Brigadier (retd) Salahuddin Sunday conducted trials for selection of probables of Rest of Sindh here at Niaz Stadium.
Out of 63 players, called by the PCB for the two-day trials, 44 cricketers from different districts of the province appeared.
The selectors conducted the trials in two sessions.
The trials will also continue Monday in two sessions.
Pir Moazzam, the nominated manager of Rest of Sindh distributed two days’ travelling and daily allowances to the cricketers who were invited by the PCB. Each participant got Rs400 as travelling and daily allowances.
During the trials, the office-bearers of district cricket associations from various districts were also present, however, the cricketers belonging to these associations faced great inconvenience as their office-bearers failed to provide them accommodation.—APP
