Dacoits kill ex-councillor
SAHIWAL, Dec 23: Dacoits killed a former councillor and inj-ured his son on resistance in Chak No 2/10-L on Sunday morning.
Four dacoits sneaked into the house of former councillor Syed Muhammad Hussain Shah when the inmates were offering Fajr prayers. The dacoits held up the inmates and started collecting valuables. The dacoits opened fire when the family member resisted. As a result, Hussain Shah died on the spot while his son Fazal Abbas was injured.
The dacoits fled away without taking anything from the house.
Harappa police said the dacoits earlier looted the house of Lal Muhammad in the same village.
