KASUR, Dec 23: A constable was shot at and injured seriously on Sunday by three robbers on resistance near Pattoki.
Muhammad Haroon along with his wife was going to Chak 37 from Pattoki by his motorcycle. The armed robbers intercepted them near Pattoki and snatched motorcycle and ornaments from his wife. They shot and injured Haroon critically for putting up resistance. He was shifted to a Lahore hospital in precarious condition.
Police are going into the matter.
ABDUCTED: A newly-wed bride was abducted by three vagabonds on Sunday at Talwandi village, Ilahabad.
Married about a month ago, Kaniz Bibi had come to her parents’ when Muhammad Arshad and his accomplices took her in a car.
Police have registered a case.
