LAHORE, Dec 21: Abdul Jabbar was elected president, and Iftikhar Ahmad, secretary general, of the Pakistan Wushu Federation during the elections held at the Olympic House on Friday for the next four-year term.
Muhammad Jahangir acted as the Pakistan Olympic Association observer.
The following officer-bearers have been elected:
President: Abdul Jabbar, senior vice-president: Col Ahmad Nawaz (Army)
Vice-presidents: Khalid Mahmood (Wapda), Col (retd) Khalid (Railways), Rana Abdul Majid (Wushu Coaches Association), Professor Shamim Aziz (women’s representative)
General secretary: Iftikhar Ahmad (Punjab).
Association secretaries: Muhammad Saleem (Wushu Coaches Association), Zulfiqar Ali Zulfi (Technical officials’representative), Engineer Amirullah (NWFP), Dr Farhan Khan Janan (Balochistan).
Treasurer: Ejaz Ahmad Awan (Punjab)
Information secretary: Uzma Shahzad (Women’s representative)
