PESHAWAR, Dec 20: District Nazim Swat Mehboob-ur-Rehman has said that special attention will be given to women’s personality development at the district level.

This he said while addressing a seminar as a chief guest on the role of women councillors in the new system at a local Hotel in Swat on Thursday.

The seminar was organized by Aurat Foundation in collaboration with the Citizen Action Committee Swat. The seminar was attended by EDO Health, Swat, Dr Mehmood Khan, Prin-cipal Govt Girls College, Swat, Prof Bilqees Ismail Khan and a large number of women councillors.

The district Swat Nazim said the district government had earmarked Rs1 crore for women’s development projects in the current budget which will be utilized for the welfare of district’s women through the 350 women councillors.
