11 Mujahideen killed

SRINAGAR, Dec 19: Indian forces in occupied Kashmir on Wednesday claimed killing 11 Mujahideen in separate clashes.

An army statement said the documents were found in a hideout of the Lashkar-i-Taiba, which India blames for last week’s suicide attack on its parliament.

The army said six Lashkar-i-Taiba men had been killed in two separate clashes in Anantnag and Baramulla districts.

A further five fighters were killed in other shootouts in the held state, Indian officials claimed.—Reuters
