LARKANA, Dec 19: A high-tension electric wire passing near the main bus terminal of Kambar broke all of a sudden and plunged the whole town and its adjoining areas into darkness on Wednesday. However, no damage to life or property was caused.

No Hesco official was available for comment when this correspondent tried to contact one.

Villagers in Kambar and many parts of Mirokhan sub-division have often complained to Hesco against the frequent power failure but in vain.

They told this correspondent that the loadshedding was done without any announcement.

The power was cut-off around 7am and it remained so till 4pm in Pir Gul Shah village on Wednesday.
