US warplanes drop leaflets

By Our Correspondent

PARACHINAR(Kurram Agency), Dec 16: US warplanes have dropped thousands of leaflets over Tora Bora area in Afghanistan and adjoining tribal areas here, asking the Al-Qaeda members to surrender as all their escape routes have been sealed.

As the Tora Bora and Koh-i-Sufaid mountain range is adjoining to Zeran village and other areas of the Kurram Agency, the US warplanes have also been flying over these areas and dropping leaflets.

In one of the leaflets tunnels of Tora Bora have been shown. These leaflets carry messages in Arabic and Pashtu languages, asking the Al-Qaeda members to surrender as all routes of their escape have been sealed and land-mines laid around their hideouts.
