KARACHI, Dec 14: International Shoaib Malik powered Professional Gymkhana in the final of A.O.Floodlight Cricket Tournament when they beat Pakistan Cricket Club (PCC) by seven wickets at Asghar Ali Shah Stadium Thursday night.
PG will take on A.O.Cricket Club in final at AAS Stadium Saturday at 7.00 P.M.
All-rounder Shoaib Malik blasted three huge sixes and nine boundaries in his aggressive knock as PG reached the winning target in 18.4 overs.
Shoaib and Test star Younus Khan were associated in a 135- run third wicket stand after paceman Iftikhar Ali removed the brothers Humayun Farhat (3) and Imran Farhat (5), opening the innings with only 15 runs on the board. Younus made a solid 53 with a six and three fours.
Earlier batting first, PCC made 157 for five wickets in their 20 overs. Opener Tariq Haroon hit 67 with four boundaries and two sixes. S.M.Babar also made his presence felt by slamming eight boundaries in his 44.
