Accord with Tobacco growers
SWABI, Dec 14: Two major tobacco companies of the country have officially displayed the names of those local growers of Virginia tobacco to whom agreements for the 2002 season would be issued.
The growers have also been warned against the surplus production of tobacco, said officials of the two companies, Lakson Tobacco Company and Pakistan Tobacco Company, adding that the companies were bound to purchase the given quota of the crop from the agreement holders.
