PESHAWAR: 11 uplift plans okayed

PESHAWAR, Dec 14: A meeting of the district development committee Dir Lower, presided over by district Nazim Dr Mohammad Yaqoob Khan, on Thursday approved 11 new development schemes to be executed in the district during the current fiscal under the Khushhal Pakistan programme at a cost of Rs.5.56 million.

The meeting, attended by district coordination officer Ghulam Farooq Khan and Naib Nazim, Haji Mohammad Rasool Khan discussed various schemes.  

The Nazim stressed proper utilization of funds and warned that no misuse of public money would be tolerated. He asked officials to complete the Shawa water supply scheme in a week.
