Decision hailed

KARACHI, Dec 13: Sanity finally prevailed at the Karachi Racecourse when the Racing Authorities allowed the entries of mounts to be accepted for the Winter Gymkhana Meeting which gets under way on Wednesday, Dec 19, with the previous decision of owners paying the entry fees along with the mounts struck off.

It was learnt Thursday, that the handicapper was notified by the racing authorities to accept the entry of the horses and the entry fees would be adjusted against the owners later.

This decision has been welcomed by the owners, trainers and all others concerned with horseracing in the city.

The handicaps for Dec 19 race meeting will be published Dec 14 and the final acceptors will be available Saturday.
