Plan to streamline traffic

ABBOTTABAD, Dec 13:  Zila Nazim Mustafa Jadoon has directed the authorities concerned to prepare a comprehensive plan to streamline the city traffic.

During his visit to bus and suzuki stands and different bazaars in the city, he suggested that a feasible scheme with the help of transporters and commuters should be prepared to reduce the rush of traffic on main roads.

The Nazim was accompanied by the traffic police officials and members of the district transport committee.

SHOPS GUTTED: Three shops reduced to ashes when a fire broke out due to a short circuit causing millions of rupees loss at Jamal building here.

The shops of Hayat Khan, Amer Shah and Malik Ghulam were destroyed before the fire brigade could put out the fire.

TWO KILLED: Two people were killed in separate incidents at Havelian on Wednesday.

Khaliq Dad killed his sister-in-law over a domestic issue at the Bail village.

While Hamayun Khan was killed allegedly by Sajid and Mazhar at the Begga village in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police have registered the cases against alleged killers.
