VEHARI, Dec 9: Clash among members of a criminal gang claimed life of a proclaimed offender in the Pakhi Morr area on Sunday.
Muhammad Shahid, Shakil Ahmad, Mahmood Ahmad, Afzal Kharal and Amjad Kharal quarrelled among themselves over a minor dispute. Four of them opened firing on Shahid, killing him on the spot.
Police claimed to have arrested Shakil and Mahmood. They said the other two would be arrested within the next 24 hours.
The deceased belonged to Chichawatni.
