Two shot dead

SAHIWAL, Dec 5: Two persons were shot dead in different incidents in and around the city during the last 24 hours.

Allah Ditta of Nelanwali village was asleep when cattle lifters entered his cattleshed late Tuesday night. The intruders shot him dead when he woke up and held out. Later, the outlaws escaped from the scene.

Noorshah police have instituted a case.

In Bilal Colony, Waheed raised an alarm about the lifting of his bicycle from a billiard shop. Nadeem went after the bicycle lifters and caught one of them, but his accomplice, identified as Arshad, shot him dead. Later, police arrested Arshad while his accomplice managed to escape from the scene.

Fatehsher police have registered a case.
