Two killed in border firing

SIALKOT, Dec 4: Two farmers were killed as a result of Indian firing on a Charwa sector village in Sialkot working boundary early on Tuesday.

A Chenab rangers’ official, based in Sialkot, said Muhammad Mushtaq and Muhammad Iqbal of Khanoor village were working in their fields when hit by shells.

“The Indians also pounded border villages in Chhumb, Joriyan, Bajwat, Harpal, and Shakargarh sectors with mortar shells,” the official said.

Firing between the Chenab rangers and the Indian security forces erupted against on Tuesday evening, reports said.
