HYDERABAD, Dec 3: The chairman of his own faction of Sindh National Party Amir Bhambhro has said that the SNP will launch a mass movement after Eid-ul-Fitr to mobilize public opinion against anti-education conspiracies.
He was talking to newsmen at an Iftar party in Naseem Nagar, Qasimabad here on Sunday night.
He said that the education in Sindh was being destroyed and it was therefore necessary to awaken the people to resist any move which could further harm education.
He said that the people of the province had supported those politicians who after landing in the corridors of power had disappointed the masses.
Referring to some nationalists leaders, he said, they only talked about the struggle but practically refrained from it.
Answering a question about Dr. Dodo Mehri, the founder of the SNP, he said that the entire body which had sworn allegiance to Mehri was now with him (Bhambhro).
He said that those people who claimed to be intellectuals should encourage political workers.
Answering another question about extortion by political groups, he assailed such practices and said that his party abhorred such tendencies. He asked the newsmen to expose extortionist elements.
He said that his party stood for political emancipation of Sindh. The Iftar party was attended by the SNP leaders.
