KARACHI: Entrance test held for reserved seats

KARACHI, Dec 3: 96 candidates appeared in the entry test for admission on 18 reserved seats for Sindh students at different engineering universities of the country.

Among others, 78 candidates appeared for nomination at ten reserved seats in the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, while nine appeared in test for admissions on four seats in the University of Engineering and Technology, Khuzdar.

The test papers were prepared by the NED University of Engineering and Technology, while the Sindh Education Department conducted the test at S M Arts College, under the supervision of Additional Secretary (Academic), Prof Rais Alvi.

The secretary of the Education department, Nazar Hussain Mehar, also visited the centre. The results of the test would be announced on Friday, an official of the department said.
