LARKANA, Dec 2: The Khidmat Masoom Welfare Centre, Larkana, delivered 65 missing children to their parents in the month of November while three still remain untraced.

Ali Anwer Khokhar, who runs the centre, and delivers missing children in a press statement on Saturday said that out of 65 missing children 32 were girls and 33 were boys with their ages ranging between two and seven years.

Those who still remain untraced are Rahim Bakhsh (8), son of Karim Bakhsh Chandio, Juryo Chandio village; Rafique Ahmed (8), son of Shaman Hulio, Larkana; and Abdul Malik (8), son of M. Ayub Mughiri, Shahdadkot.

Mr Khokar said that his mission was to deliver missing children to their parents voluntarily. He said that in 11 months from January to November he had delivered 555 missing children to their parents. He said that to date he had delivered 3,667 missing children to their parents.

He elucidated that he was solely responsible for all the work without being provided any official support.

He told this correspondent on Saturday that he roamed about in the streets and roads pulling a tricycle seeking the identification of the missing kids. He said that though he was poor and frail the work gave him great satisfaction.
