Relief goods handed over


QUETTA, Dec 2: South Korea has donated $500,000 relief goods for the Afghan refugees in Balochistan.

The in-charge counsellor for economic affairs at the Korean embassy in Islamabad, Do Young Suck, handed over the goods to UNHCR representative William Sakataka here on Sunday. The supplies included 17,500 blankets and 36,000 plastic sheets. Mr Young, said Korea had provided $4m aid to Pakistan for economic assistance besides humanitarian aid to the refugees.—APP
