Oil prices reduced

KARACHI, Nov 30: The Oil Companies Advisory Committee (Ocac) on Friday reduced petrol and diesel prices by 1.92 per cent and 3.1pc, respectively.

The new prices will apply during the Dec 1-15 fortnight. Petrol would now cost Rs28.74 a litre from Rs29.66 a litre. High speed diesel price was reduced to Rs14.8 a litre from Rs15.09 a litre. The new price of HOBC is fixed at Rs32.96 a litre as compared to Rs33.71 a litre, whereas the new price of kerosene oil is Rs13.41 a litre against Rs14.4 a litre. Light speed diesel and JP-4 will be sold at Rs11.98 and Rs12.8 a litre as compared to Rs13.4 and Rs13.58 a litre, respectively.
