Parties back PMC students demand

NAWABSHAH, Nov 30: The protest of girls students against the People’s Medical College, Nawabshah, administration continued to attract public attention.

President PPP district Nawabshah and ex-senator Ghulam Qadir Chandio while talking to Dawn said that principal PMC has done injustice to the students and it was an indicator that administration of PMC has failed to provide proper education.

Sardar Khan Muhammad Dahri, coordinator Sindh Democratic Alliance,SDA, said that no one would be allowed to play with the career of students.

He further said that he would take up this matter in the next session of the alliance.

He said that health department should take action against the irregular Professors.

Syed Zain Shah of Jeay Sindh Mahaz said that strict action must be taken against the irregular professors.

He said that PMC has always been neglected and the level of education has come down. Abdul Sattar Qureshi of Awami Ittehad Nawabshah rejected the results announced by university as a foul play.

The students of People’s Medical College Nawabshah have demanded of president General Pervez Musharraf, Governor Sindh Mahommedmian Soomro and Minister Health to revise the results, conduct an enquiry and take a stern action against the irregular professors.
