KARACHI, Nov 29: Wackenhut CC scored an exciting 11-run victory over Karachi Club in the Zultec Ramazan invitational cricket tournament played Thursday at the PCB Regional Academy ground.
Batting first Wackenhut totalled 132 for six in the 20 allotted overs with all rounder Rashid Hanif blasting 61 runs off 54 deliveries. Rizwan Saeed (2-21) and Rehan Malik (2-29) were among the wickets for Karachi Club.
Karachi Club in reply lost quick wickets and finished 121 for eight.
Veteran Shaukat Mirza (2-12), Saqib Younis (2-17) and M. Wahid (2-21), getting among the wickets.
